Cambodia has some of the best land in the world for the cultivation of pepper. This tradition dates back to the 13th century and remains to this day. This superior-quality pepper has a protected designation of origin. Kampot pepper is a rare ingredient. Known as one of the best types of pepper in the world, it is today considered a unique and exceptional item. Pepper grows along climbing vines in clusters. White Pepper is made from ripened peppercorns that are then washed and removed from their skin, known as the pericarp. This is where the spicy substance of the peppercorn is located. Therefore, the flavour of White Pepper is normally milder. Among the Kampot pepper family, Kampot white pepper has the most subtle taste. This pepper has a slight spiciness and heat that lingers on the palate for a while. It has incredible citrusy flavours and the same fresh notes as red pepper. This pepper mill is practical for the dinner table and in the kitchen with two openings (at the top and bottom) allowing you to fully appreciate the quality of the freshly ground peppercorns.
