“La Folle Noire d’Ambat” is the pure and clear representation of the queen of Fronton: Négrette. And this vintage is as fleeting as its little nickname suggests. Planted on boulbène soils known as “red mullets” and clays rich in iron oxide, it expresses itself here on black cherry and flowers such as peony and rose. The mouth is full of character and intensity, without being aggressive. The velvety tannins finally coat everything and enhance the fruit. Certainly, a wine for pleasure, for sharing, to drink with friends or family!

Appellation:
Pediment
Domain: Domaine le Roc
Color: Red
Grape variety(s): 100% Négrette
Vintage: 2021
Region: South West
Capacity: 75 cl

Food and wine pairings: Serve La Folle Noire at around 16-17°C. As the winegrowers say so well: “This vintage calls for nibbling, sausageing and remarkably supports conversation”. A typical South-West cassoulet, a little fatter, will in turn enhance this bottle (and vice versa of course).
