“Côte du Py” comes from the legendary “Côte de Py” plot, whose highest point is at an altitude of 358 meters. Located south of Villié-Morgon, this place is characterized by decomposing schist soil, also called "rotten rock" or "morgon" or "bluish-gray stone"! This very special soil makes it possible to extract exceptional Morgon with incredible aging potential. Laura Lardy's is still very young but very promising! Made from Gamay noir vines with white juice aged around sixty years, it is aged for 6 months in barrels. This provides an undeniable structure while preserving the deliciousness and freshness of the king of Beaujolais grape variety. A nectar of great finesse, atypical and grandiose.
