“Lône”, in Rhone dialect and as Julien Pilon explained it to us, are these pieces of water whose origin is somewhat unknown, neither directly connected to a river, nor to the bed of the Rhône itself. The winemaker appreciated the sound and resonance that they can give to this wine, full of roundness, suppleness, delicacy, almost polished... This cuvée comes from the blend of five terroirs of the appellation (Jeanraude , Verlieu, Peyrolland, Sainte-Agathe and Bassenon). The grapes are harvested, vinified and matured separately then finally blended, in order to preserve all the typicity of each. This superb Condrieu is a concentrate of finesse and freshness. The nose reveals lemony aromas and subtle notes of reduction. The palate offers a nice richness, lots of freshness and tenderness as well as a beautiful aromatic persistence. A great representative of the appellation, produced in only 5,000 bottles.
