When we talk about Pouilly-Fumé, we are undeniably also talking about Sauvignon blanc. “Les Petites Aubues” is a proud representation of this! The grapes, planted in the Nièvre department, express themselves wonderfully on the terroirs of limestone marl, flint clay and caillottes. And you can really feel it in the wine! An aromatic richness is entirely characteristic of the appellation. Aromas of white and yellow fruits (pear, apricot, etc.), citrus fruits (pink grapefruit, calamansi, etc.), cut hay, all enhanced by a subtle hint of saffron. The palate is fresh, frank, full of tension (that famous “flintstone” side…) and good length. An intense and tasty wine.
