“Romain” is the name of Christophe and Chrystel’s second boy. Chatus is this old grape variety, rehabilitated and made famous by Christophe Reynouard. On this vintage, he offers us a plot selection of old Chatus vines and aging in barrels for longer than his colleague, "Chatus domaine". We find the generosity of the grape variety, its spices, its touches of liquorice and very ripe black fruits. Its racy character is slightly more blended, as are its tannins. On the other hand, we see more power, mixed with just as much finesse.
