This Sancerre from old Pinot Noir vines on clay-silt-limestone terroirs typical of the appellation was vinified following total destemming to keep the harmony of the fruit. This is followed by a year of aging in stainless steel vats and barrels in order to maintain a certain balance in this wine. This wine, with a light, cherry red color, has an intense nose dominated by red fruits such as cherry enhanced by blackberry, blackcurrant and blueberry. The palate is rich, concentrated and the tannins are velvety. Some roasted and spicy aromas will enhance the finish over the length.
