"Furstentum" is a very steep plot classified as Grand Cru located in the town of Sigolsheim (20 minutes from Colmar to the north). This pretty nectar made from Pinot gris reveals a complex and pure nose with pronounced notes of blood orange. The palate is slender, delicious and intense. Made for aging and a true ally of gastronomy, this wine with a strong residual (50g/L) does not fall into heaviness. Rich, it nonetheless remains fresh and very airy, and tastes almost "dry".

Food and wine pairings: Such an elixir takes time. We therefore advise you to decant it at least 1 hour before tasting then serve it chilled at around 8 and 9°C. When “Furstentum” meets duck dishes, a beautiful love story begins. At Marcon we particularly like it with foie gras, whether in a terrine or pan-fried. You can also pair it with sweet/savory dishes, like a tagine for example.
