Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in oak barrels, then the wine ages for 18 to 24 months, always in oak barrels. This grand cru reveals a pale, sparkling color with green reflections. The nose offers mineral, floral notes of honey and candied lemon, of remarkable nobility. The attack is frank, the wine is ample and structured with real vigor on the palate, while remaining delicate. The finale, for its part, is infinite... Le Clos is a climate from the AOC Chablis Grand Cru. With its 26 hectares, it is the most imposing of the 7 crus. It enjoys a South-West exposure, which allows it to be bathed in sunlight from morning until evening. This optimum sunshine, coupled with a steep slope, offers ideal ripening conditions. Its mineral straightness, its flawless power and its aromatic intensity can confuse tasters! Sometimes shy in the first years, it needs time to fully reveal itself and will retain its freshness even after ten years in the cellar.
