This vintage comes from a plot adjoining those of Château Rayas, in the heart of the Rayas woods. We obtain a wine with a powerful nose of spices, undergrowth and garrigue deviating towards leather and liquorice. The palate is suave, silky and fleshy. Vatting takes place in whole bunches for 32 days, followed by aging for 12 to 18 months in barrels.
