The grapes come from century-old vines planted at an altitude of 700 m in the town of Lavieu on a south-facing slope. The harvest is harvested manually. The harvest is then 80% destemmed with light daily punching down. No commercial yeast is added to start the fermentations. The vintage is aged in 6-wine oak barrels for 8 months. The color is a deep and brilliant cherry red. The nose opens with small red fruits (gooseberries, fresh cherry), then aromas of sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla. The palate offers intense notes of cherries with a good balance between acidity and roundness.
